Sensei Ads ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Digital King Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our web application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you register, we collect your email address and, if provided, your display name. If you sign up using a password, your password is securely hashed and stored by our authentication provider (Supabase). We never store passwords in plain text.

2.2 Billing Information

When you purchase a subscription or top-up, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full billing details. We receive and store only your Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, plan tier, and usage counters necessary to enforce your account limits.

2.3 Google Ads Data You Upload

You may upload CSV files containing Google Ads search term reports. This data typically includes search terms, impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, match types, and ad group names. This data is:

• Transmitted to our server solely for the purpose of AI-powered keyword analysis.
• Sent to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their own privacy policy and terms.
• Not permanently stored on our servers after analysis is complete. Analysis results (themed keyword groupings) are stored in your account for your reference.
• Never shared with other users, sold to third parties, or used for advertising purposes.

2.4 Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including the number of terms analyzed per month, account creation dates, and analysis timestamps. This data is used to enforce plan limits and improve the Service.

2.5 Cookies and Session Data

We use essential cookies to maintain your authentication session. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. Session cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled while using the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• Process your transactions and manage your subscription.
• Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
• Analyze your uploaded search term data using AI to generate keyword recommendations.
• Enforce usage limits associated with your plan tier.
• Communicate with you regarding your account, billing, or support requests.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate the Service:

• Supabase — Authentication, database hosting, and serverless functions. Your account data and analysis results are stored in Supabase-managed infrastructure.
• Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe handles all payment card data in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic — AI analysis. Your uploaded search term data and business context are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for keyword categorization. Anthropic processes this data according to their Privacy Policy and API terms.
• Cloudflare — Hosting and content delivery. Cloudflare may process request metadata (IP addresses, headers) in accordance with their privacy policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and analysis results for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (account information, analysis results, and usage history) will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days. Backup copies may persist in encrypted form for up to 90 days before automatic deletion.

Stripe retains payment records independently in accordance with their own retention policies and applicable financial regulations.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) for all data transmissions.
• Encryption at rest for database storage.
• Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring users can only access their own data.
• Server-side API key management — third-party API keys are never exposed to the browser.
• Secure authentication with hashed passwords and session management.

Despite these measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data and are not liable for breaches beyond our reasonable control.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent for data processing.
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

Your data may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers maintain infrastructure. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to these jurisdictions, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
